• Outline the principles behind ignition and spread of fire and explosion in work premises
• Identify the causes of fire and explosion and outline appropriate control measures to minimise fire risks
• Advise on the means of fire protection and prevention of fire spread within buildings
• Advise on the development and maintenance of a fire evacuation procedure
• Use a simple fire risk assessment technique to determine risk levels and assess the adequacy of controls

On successful passing the exam you will receive a NEBOSH accredited Certificate.

By Car From the M8 Exit at junction 19. Turn left onto Argyle Street. Turn right at James Watt Street, turn left onto the Broomielaw (Clyde Street). Continue on this street, turn left at Oswald Street, take your first right onto Midland Street. At the end of this street take a right turn and Jurys Inn Glasgow is on your right hand side. From the M77 Come off at fly over at Kinning Park, stay in the same lane and take a sharp left and keep on road until you come to traffic lights at Harry Ramsdens turn right and follow road stay in left hand lane, take a left then a right turn and you will see the river Clyde. Go over the bridge onto Oswald Street and take the first right onto Midland Street come to the end of the road and take a right and Jurys Inn Glasgow is on the right hand side. Free Car Parking at Reception, speak to Kirsty in Conference Services. By Rail The nearest mainline station is Glasgow Central. The hotel is a 2 minute walk.
