NEBOSH Construction Certificate Course in Gatwick

	Duration: 10 days if you have successfully completed the Management Paper of the NEBOSH General Certificate. If not it is 15 days Who is the Construction Certificate course for? The Certificate is designed for people who have an involvement in construction work & need to provide advice on health, safety & welfare in construction work.

Learning Outcomes of the NEBOSH Construction Certificate

At the end of the course you should be able to:

• Understand the main requirements and application of the Construction (Design & Management) Regulations 2007.
• Understand the factors to consider when carrying out a site assessment; identify construction activity hazards, assess the risks and recommend control measures.
• Identify the hazards & and outline appropriate control measures in the following areas: movement of people & vehicles, manual & mechanical handling, work equipment, electrical, chemical & biological, physical & psychological, working at height, excavation work & confined spaces & demolition.
• Successfully carry out a safety inspection of a construction workplace identifying hazards, recommending control measures and preparing a management report

Certification

Delegates are awarded the Certificate on successful completion of one 2-hour written paper and a practical assessment which involves safety monitoring of a construction site and the production of a formal report under examination conditions.

From the East

Exit the M25 at Junction 9 and head in the direction of Dorking. On reaching Dorking turn left at the Deepdene roundabout onto the A25 to Reigate. After passing the Arkle Manor Public House, turn right at the next roundabout into Station Road. At the T junction turn left, follow the road until you pass the Red Lion Public House then take the first turning on the right into Sandy Lane. After 55 metres Hartsfield Lodge and the Manor driveway can be seen on the right hand side.

From the West

Exit the M25 at Junction 8 and join the A217 to Reigate Then take the A25 to Dorking. Go through Reigate town centre and remain on the A25 until you reach Buckland. At the brow of the hill turn at the church into Old Road. Follow the road for half a mile then turn left into Sandy Lane. After 55 metres Hartsfield Lodge and the Manor driveway can be seen on the right hand side.

Train

Train services are available to and from Waterloo & Victoria to Dorking and to and from Victoria to Redhill.
